This stunning panoramic photograph captures 31 members of the 1925 New York Yankees posing together during spring training in St. Petersburg, Florida, including Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig (in his first full season with the team at age 22. He appeared in only 23 games total in 1923 and 1924 combined) and Miller Huggins. The photographer's credit, the location, and the date (March 25, 1925), appears in the lower right. This photo, along with several other items offered in this auction, originates directly from Urban Shocker's estate and is accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from his great-grandson.
