These guides are filled with voluminous statistics and information about the previous season. Many consider these annuals to represent the best value in all of vintage baseball collecting. 1) Sporting News Record Book (5): 1928 (Gehrig cover), 1930, 1937, 1939 Abner Doubleday cover), and 1940. 2) H&B's Famous Sluggers (2): 1933 (Foxx and Klein cover) and 1936 (Gehrig and Ott cover). Four guides are in Poor to Fair condition, while the remaining three are Vg to Vg-Ex. Total: 7 guides.
