Description

Rarely offered example of New York Giants Hall of Famer Willie Mays from the 1952 Star-Decals (Type 1) series. The decal has been removed from its original packaging envelope as issued. Produced by the Meyercord Co. of Chicago in 1952, the Type 1 Star-Cal set consists of 70 different major leaguers, each pictured on a large decal (4-1/8 x 6-1/8 inches) with a facsimile autograph below his image. Encapsulated as Authentic by PSA, the decal is bright and crisp with several wrinkles.
