Description

Graded VG 40 by SGC. Rarely offered example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Babe Ruth from the 1923 V100 Willard's Chocolate set. The V100 Willard's Chocolate series is one of the most substantial and overlooked sets from the 1920s. Ruth is one of the key cards to this early 1920s card issue. The offered card features a crisp image of Ruth, a light crease along the top border, and rounded corners. The blank reverse is mainly clean. This is a very attractive example, which would be a significant addition to any sample card, Babe Ruth, or prewar Hall of Fame card collection.
