Description

Presented is a very desirable Exhibits card dating from Gehrig's first full season with the Yankees, in 1925. This is an extremely significant card as it is recognized as Lou Gehrig's true rookie card. This is also one of the key rarities and perhaps the most noteworthy of all Exhibits cards. The card, which is encapsulated as "Authentic" by PSA, displays a number of flaws, including four chipped corners, creases, ink marks on front and back, and heavy toning on the reverse. This is an extremely historic card, Lou Gehrig's true rookie card, and one that would be a highlight in even the most advanced card or Hall of Fame collection.
