Description

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. A very appealing example of key card and Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the extremely rare V89 William Paterson baseball series. Cards from this set are of special interest to collectors because of the unusual photographs used, all of which are unique to this issue. The offered example displays outstanding picture quality and honest corner wear. A heavy vertical crease on the left border is responsible for the assigned grade. The blank back has light toning. This is a very desirable example of one of Ty Cobb's most classic 1920s cards and one that would be an outstanding addition to any Ty Cobb, Hall of Fame, or prewar-card collection.
