Description

Graded VG 3 by SGC (submitted by REA). Classic card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the T205 Gold Border series. This Cobb card is not just the most valuable in the set, it is also one of the most well-known and popular of all his cards. The offered card has brilliant colors, outstanding registration, light corner wear, and no creases or wrinkles. Minor chipping along the bottom edge contributes to the assigned grade. The Piedmont advertising back is boldly printed and centered to the top right. This is a very attractive example of Ty Cobb, the key card in the T205 Gold Border set, in a particularly desirable grade, from this extremely condition-sensitive set.
