Description

Ticket stub (1-5/8 x 4-5/8 inches) issued for a game between the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. Graded VG 3 by PSA, this is the ONLY example certified by PSA! The Cardinals defeated the Giants 14-3 as Arizona's Pat Tillman recorded his first career interception. Following the 2001 season, Tillman left the Cardinals to join the United States Army Special Operations. He was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire on April 22, 2004. Tillman posthumously received the Silver Star and Purple Heart medals. Additionally, the Cardinals retired his number 40.
