Presented is a complete set collection of 1985 to 1990 Perez-Steele Great Moments Postcards (series one to series six). This set includes twenty-two signed examples. One of the most beautiful sets ever issued, Perez-Steele's Great Moments set began publication in 1985. The offering was limited to 5,000 numbered sets with periodical updates. The set is fashioned after the colorful T3 Turkey Red cabinet cards of 1911 and salutes the defining moments in the careers of Baseball Hall of Famers. This collection is composed of 72 cards, six 12-card series. The signatures have all been scripted in blue Sharpie on the front of the cards. The cards are from various numbered sets, but most are #3797. Condition ranges from Ex to Nr/Mt-Mt (averaging Ex/Mt), and one card has been professionally authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (#53 Berra). Includes the following four duplicates: Roberts (signed), Hunter (signed), Mays, and Ferrell. The twenty-two signed cards, broken down by series, consist of the following: First series (1 card): #5 Ford. Second series (3 cards): #14 Spahn and two 17 Roberts. Third series (6 cards): #27 Irvin, 29 Slaughter, 33 Snider, 34 Dandridge, 35 Hubbell, and 36 Doerr. Fourth series (5 cards): #37 Dickey, 38 Stargell, 39 B. Robinson, 41 Herman, and 48 Killebrew. Fifth series (4 cards): #53 Berra (PSA Authentic), 55 Schoendienst, 58 Leonard, and 59 Kell. Sixth series (3 cards): Two #62 Hunter and 70 Ferrell. Total: 76 cards (22 signed, 4 duplicates).
