Presented is a very attractive mid- to high-grade near-complete set of the classic 1955 Topps issue, consisting of 199 different cards (out of 206 in the set). Missing the following seven cards for completion: #2 Williams, 47 Aaron, 50 Robinson, 123 Koufax, 124 Killebrew, 164 Clemente, and 194 Mays. Condition is 46% Ex to Ex-Mt (including 3% Nr/Mt) and 54% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser and one trimmed). We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. Keys: #1 Rhodes (Vg+), 4 Kaline (Vg+), 24 Newhouser (Vg+), 28 Banks (NM 7), 31 Spahn (VG/EX+ 4.5), 100 Irvin (Ex), 120 Kluszewski (Ex), 125 Boyer RC (Ex), 152 Agganis RC (Vg-Ex), 155 Mathews (Vg-Ex), 187 Hodges (NM+ 7.5), 189 Rizzuto (Vg-Ex+), 198 Berra (NM 7), and 210 Snider (Vg). This is a very crisp and clean near-complete set of 1955 Topps, one of the most classic 1950s Topps series. Total: 199 cards.
