Presented is a collection of seventy-two different 1927 Zeenut cards featuring Pacific Coast League players, highlighted by Hall of Famer Harry Hooper. The 1927 Zeenut set is composed of players from eight different teams (Hollywood, Los Angeles, Mission, Oakland, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Seattle). A collection of this size (exactly half of the set) is very rarely offered. Condition is 79% Gd to Vg (approximately two-thirds Gd and including two Vg-Ex) and 21% Pr to Fr (including one trimmed around the corners). This collection consists of the following: Agnew, Arlett, Backer, Baumgartner, Borreani, Bratcher, Brown, Bryan, Callaghan, Caveney, Cissell, Cook, C. Cooper, W. Cooper, Cox, Cunningham, Eckert, Fenton, Fischer, French, Fullerton, Hasty, Hoffman, Hood, Hooper (HOF, Gd+), Hufft, Hughes, Jahn, E.R. Johnson, Jones, Kallio, Keating, Keefe, Kinney, Knight, Koehler, Kopp, Krug, Lary, Ludolph, Mails, Makin, Martin, McCurdy, McGee, McLaughlin, Metz, Miljus, Mitchell, Moudy, Murphy, A. Parker, Peters, Ponder, Rachac, Ramsey, Rodda, Rohwer, Ryan, Sandberg, Sanders, Severeid, Shea, Sherlock, Shinners/date is 27, Singleton, Slade, Sparks, Vitt, Weis, Woodson, and Wright. As is usually the case with Zeenuts, the coupon at the bottom of each card has been neatly clipped away, as intended, to be redeemed for valuable prizes. A very attractive medium- to lower-grade collection of this rare Zeenut PCL issue. Total: 72 cards.
