Description

Crisp and clean near-complete set of 1962-1963 Parkhurst hockey cards, consisting of 54 out of 56 cards in a complete set. Missing only the Checklist and Contest cards for completion. The set is highlighted by several Hall of Famers, including Gordie Howe and Jacques Plante. Condition is 30% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (approximately two-thirds Nr/Mt), 50% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 20% Vg to Vg-Ex. We have selected four cards for grading and encapsulation by SGC. Keys: #4 Mahovlich (Nr/Mt), 7 Horton (MINT 9), 14 Shack (Vg-Ex+), 15 Keon (Ex-Mt), 18 Mahovlich (Ex-Mt), 30 Howe (Vg-Ex), 31 Howe (NM/MT 8), 38 Richard (Ex+), 39 Beliveau (NM/MT 8), 49 Plante (MINT 9), and 54 Tremblay RC (Ex). This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade near-complete set (minus two) of this classic 1960s Parkhurst hockey-card issue which includes so many notable highlights. Total: 54 cards.
