Presented is a partial set of 1955 Topps "Rails and Sails" series consisting of all 130 cards from the "Rails" (#1-130) subset, missing the "Sails" subset (#131-200) for completion. The gorgeous color and amazing detail on each card make this set stand out as one of the most highly regarded and beautiful nonsport card sets ever produced. This partial set features railroad locomotives and cars with an astounding commitment to detail and historical accuracy. Condition is 31% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (mostly Nr/Mt), 32% Ex-Mt, and 37% Vg-Ex to Ex (mostly Ex and including one lesser). This is a very attractive collection of this popular 1950s Topps nonsport issue. Total: 130 cards.
