Description

Presented is a complete set of the 1962 Topps "Civil War News" series. Each card has multicolored artwork of a battle scene or historical event. The text on the reverse is designed in the style of a newspaper. The extraordinary artwork and accurate historical information presented on these cards have distinguished them as one of Topps' most ambitious projects. Condition is 25% Nr/Mt, 48% Ex to Ex-Mt (including some due solely to centering), and 27% Vg to Vg-Ex (including two lesser and some due to miscut centering). Keys: #1 The Angry Man (Vg) and 88 Checklist (15/85 L/R, otherwise Vg-Ex). This is a very attractive mid- to high-grade complete set of this very popular nonsport issue. Total: 88 cards.
