Presented is a complete set of 200 cards from the 1955 Topps "Rails and Sails" series. The gorgeous color and amazing detail on each card makes this set stand out as one of the most highly regarded and beautiful nonsport card sets ever produced. The set features railroad locomotives and cars, and seventy types of sailing vessels, with an astounding commitment to detail and historical accuracy. Condition of the set is 9% Nr/Mt, 38% Ex to Ex-Mt, 39% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 14% lesser (including ten trimmed [all from the "Rails" subset]). This is a very attractive, mostly mid-grade complete set of this classic 1950s Topps nonsport issue. Total: 200 cards.
