Description

Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC. Hall of Famer Dan Brouthers with Louisville from the popular N300 Mayo’s Cut Plug series issued in 1895. This is one of the important team variations in the Mayo set. Brouthers left Baltimore for Louisville late in the 1895 season, and this card reflects the team change on his uniform. The offered card features a crisp and clear image of Brouthers with light wear to the edges and corners (mostly the upper-left). Clean reverse. This is an attractive example of one of the most important cards in the Mayo set featuring one of the premier Hall of Fame members from the 19th century.
