Lot # 605: 1913 WG5 National Game Honus Wagner PSA NM-MT 8

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Classic Honus Wagner card issued in 1913 as part of the National Game playing-card set. "The National Game" cards are nearly identical in design to the "Tom Barker Baseball" card set except for the different back design, which is in red and features advertising for "The National Game." This particular card arguably represents the very best value of all Wagner cards. This uncirculated card was obviously never played with and almost certainly survived in such pristine condition sealed in a complete deck. It is bright and clean, both front and back, with exceptional clarity. This is an extraordinary card which would be a significant addition to the most advanced Honus Wagner, Hall of Famer, or world-class vintage-card collection.
