Original news photo capturing New York Yankees Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel during the 1956 season. Stengel is pictured sitting on the steps of the dugout while he pats his face with a cold sponge. The original paper news caption is affixed on the reverse. In addition to the caption, the reverse also features a "Jun 25 1956" date stamp and a "United Press Association" credit stamp. The photo (7 x 9 inches) displays light creasing. In Very Good condition overall.
