Lot # 2995: 1976-1977 Topps Basketball Complete Set on Two Uncut Sheets

Complete set of 1976-1977 Topps Basketball on two 72-card uncut final production sheets for a total of 144 cards in uncut sheet form. Topps continued with its large-format basketball card "tallboys" in the mid-1970s by issuing this set of postcard-size cards which feature numerous Hall of Famers, including Julius Erving, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pete Maravich, David Thompson (rookie), and Moses Malone. The offered sheets, which are arranged in eight rows of nine cards, are ideal for display as they maintain the same vivid colors as intended fifty years ago. Some condition flaws are visible as a result of storage through the years, including a few edge tears and wear at the corners due to its large size as well as scattered wrinkling affecting several of the interior cards. Despite these technical condition flaws, the sheets remain extremely presentable and would serve as terrific additions to any advanced basketball or uncut-sheet collection. Total: 2 sheets.
