Description

Original news photo of New York Jets Hall of Famers Joe Namath and Don Maynard in 1972. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Namath is captured congratulating his star wideout after the two connected for a touchdown during a preseason game against the New York Giants on August 20th at the Yale Bowl. The reverse bears two paper news captions and a few editorial notations. The photo (8 x 10 inches) displays multiple tack holes (including a pair along the right border) and scattered creasing. Good condition overall.
