Description

Original photo of Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton at the 1961 Hula Bowl (college football all-star game). Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Tarkenton passed for 204 yards and two touchdowns in the 1961 Hula Bowl, leading the East to a 14-7 victory over the West and earning Governor's Cup MVP honors. Tarkenton's name, college ("Georgia"), and the year ("1961") are written in pencil on the reverse. The photo (8 x 10 inches) is in Excellent condition overall.
