Presented is a very attractive complete set of 1964 Topps metal coins. This offering includes both variations of #131 Mantle AS. These were issued as a special insert by Topps in baseball-card wax packs. The sets feature all the major stars of the era, including Mantle, Mays, Clemente, Aaron, Koufax, Banks, Maris, Snider, Rose, and many more. Condition ranges from Vg-Ex to Nr/Mt (averaging Ex+ and including a few slightly lesser), with varying degrees of rust spots along the rims, which is characteristic of this set. Keys: #42 Banks (Ex), 55 Clemente (Ex-Mt), 80 Mays (Ex-Mt), 82 Rose (Ex+), 83 Aaron (Ex+), 106 Koufax (Vg-Ex), 120 Mantle (Ex), 131a Mantle AS LH (Nr/Mt), 131b Mantle AS RH (Ex-Mt), 149 Aaron AS (Ex-Mt), 150 Clemente AS (Ex-Mt), and 151 Mays AS (Vg).
