Presented is a near-complete set (102 out of 104 cards) of 2002 Yu-Gi-Oh! Magic Ruler 1st edition, entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. This is the third Yu-Gi-Oh booster set, following Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon and Metal Raiders. The set was initially named Magic Ruler, with 1st edition and early print Unlimited cards bearing an "MRL" marking, but due to a legal conflict with Magic: The Gathering, the name was changed to Spell Ruler in 2003. As a result, later print Unlimited cards bear an "SRL" marking. The set is known for its heavy inclusion of spell cards and the introduction of Toon monsters. Notable cards in the series include Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon, Relinquished, Toon World, Toon Summoned Skull, and Spell Binding Circle.
