Description

Presented is a single album page from the 1889 Goodwin "Round Album" series. The page features individual illustrations of four different members of the New York Giants. Those pictured are Hall of Famers Mickey Welch, John Ward, Buck Ewing, and Tim Keefe. In addition to the illustrations on the front, the page features the respective players' statistics for the 1888 season on the reverse. The page presents with beautiful color. Graded POOR 1 by PSA. This is the ONLY example that has ever been graded by PSA (or SGC)! The piece has creasing near the left edge and a small tear extending into the binding hole. The reverse has moderate toning. Despite these flaws, this is a very attractive example from the extremely desirable "Round Album" series featuring four key Hall of Famers. Diameter: 8.25 inches.
