Description

Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Classic example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig from the 1928 Exhibits set. The blue-tinted card with a postcard-style back was produced by the Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago. The printed notation “Lou Gehrig – New York, A.L.” appears along the lower-left corner. The card has a bright and crisp image with even corner wear. A spot of reddish color along Gehrig's foot and a spot of adhesive residue on the reverse contribute to the assigned grade. This is a relatively affordable example of this very desirable Gehrig card.
