Description

Graded FAIR 20 by SGC. Classic example of legendary Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the 1921 Exhibits set. 1921 was the first year the legendary Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago issued cards. It would go on to issue them for the next 50years. These cards were sold by card machines at amusement parks and penny arcades, one penny per card. Cobb is one of the key cards in the set. The well-centered example has strong image quality and even wear at the corners. Downgraded to a heavy horizontal crease and spots of paper loss along the top of the blank reverse.
