Description

Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Exceptional mid-grade example of #22 Ty Cobb from the V117 Maple Crispette set. Cobb is one of the key cards from this rare Canadian candy issue. A portrait image of the Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer graces the front of the card, with his name and card number printed underneath. The offered card has a crisp image, honest corner wear, and a light crease in the lower left. The prize redemption offer (complete sets could be exchanged for prizes) is boldly printed on the reverse. Maple Crispette Cobb cards are very rare, and this is only the fifth example we have offered in the past 22 years. A worthy addition to any advanced Ty Cobb or type-card collection.
