Lot # 2357: 1959 San Francisco Giants Single-Signed Baseball Trio: Jim Hegan, Roger McCardell, and Billy Muffett - PSA/DNA and JSA

Trio of single-signed baseballs consisting exclusively of former San Francisco Giants players who played for the club only in 1959, all tough-to-find signees. This collection consists of the following: 1) Baseball (manufacturer's stampings faded) signed by catcher Jim Hegan in blue ink on a side panel. Hegan passed away in 1984 at the young age of 63. The ball displays moderate soiling throughout. In Good condition overall. Basic certification from James Spence/JSA (a corresponding sticker is affixed to the ball). 2) Wilson "Official Babe Ruth League" baseball signed by catcher Roger McCardell in blue ink across the sweet spot. McCardell has added an inscription ("1959 SanF Giants") directly below his signature. McCardell passed away in 1996 at the young age of 64. The ball displays scattered surface indentations, but otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition overall. Basic certification from PSA/DNA (a corresponding sticker is affixed to the ball). 3) OAL baseball (Brown) signed by pitcher Billy Muffett in blue ink on a side panel. Muffett has added a personalization ("To William, Best Regards") directly above his signature. Muffett passed away in 2008 at the age of 77. The ball displays light toning, otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition overall. Basic certification from James Spence/JSA (a corresponding sticker is affixed to the ball). Total: 3 signed baseballs.
