One-page, typed letter, dated January 6, 1920, and signed by Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack. In his letter, on official "American Base Ball Club of Philadelphia" letterhead, Mack writes to Mr. K. K. Knecht. In full: Dear Sir- In looking over my files I ran across your letter of some time ago where you had sent a photo of Charles High and your bill for the same. was one dollar and fifty cents. Am now sending you check for same. In some manner I overlooked this at the time. Yours very truly, Connie Mack [signed]." Mack's signature has been boldly scripted in black fountain pen. The letter (8.5 x 11 inches) has two horizontal folds, scattered foxing, and tears along the punch holes. Very Good condition overall.
