Description

Partial set (44/75) of 1971 Kellogg's 3-D cards. The 1971 set is by far the key year for a Kellogg's set run, as this was the only year that collectors were not offered the opportunity to order a complete set directly from Kellogg's. The only way to have assembled a 1971 Kellogg's set was to buy countless boxes of cereal, which included only one card per box. Includes three duplicates (#7 and two 66) plus both variations of #1 Simpson and two of the three variations for #64 Fregosi. Condition is 24% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including a couple MInt), 16% Ex to Ex-Mt, 45% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 15% lesser. Eight cards have been graded and encapsulated by SGC (6) or PSA (2). Keys: #1a/incorrect stats (Gd due to cracking), 1b/correct stats (VG/EX 4), 2 Seaver (FAIR 1.5), 7 (VG/EX 4), 13 (EX/NM 6), 17 Brock (NM/MT 88), 19 Aparicio (Nr/Mt-Mt), 31 Sutton (PSA MINT 9), 44 Kaline (NM/MT 8), 55 Killebrew (PSA NM 7), 57 Allen (Nr/Mt), 61 Williams (Vg-Ex), 62 Torre (Vg+), 64a/incorrect stats (Vg), 64b/correct stats (Gd due to cracking). Total: 49 cards (partial set of 44 plus three duplicates and two variations). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
