Description

Modestly graded example of this classic tobacco card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. The green background portrait pose is the rarest of the four poses of Cobb in the T206 set. This example has a beautiful green background, excellent registration, and centering toward the extreme top, hence the qualifier. Graded POOR 1 (MC) by PSA, flaws include corner wear, light creasing, and tiny spots of surface damage along the reverse. Despite these condition issues, this remains a very presentable example of one of the key cards in the premier tobacco issue of the 1910 era.
