Description

Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA. Very presentable example of this classic tobacco card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the T206 White Border series. Cobb's red background portrait pose is one of the key cards in the set and one of the most recognizable of all prewar-era tobacco cards. This example displays a beautiful red background, outstanding registration, and moderate corner wear. Sweet Caporal 350-460/30 advertising reverse. A pair of creases (one below the top right corner and the other running through Cobb's face) contribute to the assigned grade.
