Description

Modestly graded example of this classic tobacco card of Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer Ty Cobb from the T206 White Border series. Cobb's red background portrait pose is one of the key cards in the set and one of the most recognizable of all prewar-era tobacco cards. This well-centered example displays a beautiful red background and a crisp image of Cobb. Boldly printed Sweet Caporal 350/30 advertising reverse. Graded POOR 1 by PSA, flaws include a few tiny spots of paper loss along Cobb's jersey and a small crease above the bottom-right corner.
