Presented is a very attractive and mostly mid-grade complete set of one of the most overlooked (and compared to many other sets, most reasonably valued) classic bubble-gum card issues from the golden age of the 1950s. The #66 Ted Williams is the key card to the 1954 Bowman set and one of the legendary key cards among all postwar gum cards. The #66 Piersall is also included. Condition is 34% Ex to Ex-Mt (including five better), 54% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 12% lesser. Six cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. Keys: #1 Rizzuto (Vg-Ex), 6 Fox (slightly miscut bottom edge, otherwise Vg-Ex+), 15 Ashburn (Vg+), 45 Kiner (Vg), 57 Wilhelm (Vg-Ex), 58 Reese (Vg), 62 Slaughter (Ex), 64 Mathews (Ex), 65 Mantle (POOR 1), 66a Williams (POOR 1), 66b Piersall (Vg+), 84 Doby (Vg-Ex), 89 Mays (VG-EX 4 [MC]), 90 Campanella (EX 5), 95 Roberts (Ex-Mt), 101 Larsen RC (Vg-Ex), 110 Schoendienst (Vg+), 132 Feller (VG-EX 4), 138 Hodges (erasure mark on top border, otherwise Gd-Vg), 145 Martin (Vg), 161 Berra (Gd+), 164 Wynn (Fr), 170 Snider (VG-EX 4), 177 Ford (Vg-Ex), and 196 Lemon (25/75 L/R, otherwise Ex-Mt). This is a very impressive complete set of this classic Bowman issue. Total: 225 cards.
