Lot # 2187: Signed 1946-1952 Albertype (Type 2) Black-and-White Hall of Fame Postcard Clark Griffith PSA/DNA GEM MINT 10

Black-and-white (Albertype, Type 2) Hall of Fame postcard of Clark Griffith signed by him in blue ink along the top of the card. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and graded the signature GEM MINT 10. Black-and-white Hall of Fame postcards were issued only between the years 1944 and 1963. Griffith was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1946 and died in 1955, leaving a limited window of opportunity for him to sign these postcards. As a result, examples are scarce today. This is just the sixth we have offered in the past 21 years. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) has even corner wear, light creases, and evidence of album removal on the reverse. In Poor condition.
