Description

Black-and-white (Albertype, Type 2) Hall of Fame postcard of Mel Ott signed by him with blue ink in the center of the card (customary for Ott). PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and graded the signature GEM MINT 10. Ott was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1951 and died prematurely in 1958, thus contributing to the scarcity of his signature in general and on Hall of Fame postcards in particular. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) has light corner wear. In Excellent condition overall.
