Description

Black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth as a member of the New York Yankees, inscribed in black fountain pen: "To My Pal/Pete Weslou/Sincerely/Babe Ruth/1934." Both the inscription and signature are slightly faded but clearly legible. This is an appealing image of Ruth, which pictures the fabled "Sultan of Swat" in full swing at the plate during a road game. The photo (8 x 10 inches) is in apparent Excellent condition.
