Collection of ninety-seven 1958-1961 Jay Publishing "Picture Pack" (Type 1) and 1962-1965 (Type 2) premiums. Twenty-seven Hall of Fame players are represented here, many more than once (twelve different), including Mantle, T. Williams, Stengel, Snider, Mays, Musial, Berra, Ford, Cepeda, and Drysdale. Other notables include Roger Maris, Maury Wills, Elston Howard, and Billy Martin. "Picture Packs," as they are commonly known, were issued annually on a team-by-team basis by Jay Publishing between the years 1958 and 1965 and consist of twelve individual black-and-white player photos. Most of the photos (5 x 7 inches) were printed on thin glossy stock; however, the quality of the paper used could vary from team to team and year to year. Although normally sold at Major League concession stands and retail stores, "Picture Packs" were also available by mail. Condition ranges from Vg-Ex to Ex-Mt (averaging Ex), including a couple Nr/Mt and 14% lesser.
