Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. Real-photo postcard capturing Hall of Famer Walter Johnson in his Washington Senators uniform and fellow pitcher Larry Cheney in his Chicago Cubs uniform being honored in Coffeyville, Kansas, while other players watch on. The caption "Johnson-Cheney Day/Oct 30th-'13/By Studio Grand" is printed in white lettering along the base. Johnson and Cheney, both Kansas natives, each had a fantastic 1913 season. Johnson arguably had the finest campaign of his career, finishing with a league-leading 36 wins, 1.14 ERA, and 243 strikeouts. Cheney, meanwhile, finished with 21 wins, a 2.57 ERA, and a league-leading 11 saves. The postcard (5-3-/8 x 3-3/8 inches), which has not been addressed or mailed, has a small crease in the top left.
