Lot # 2831: 1956 Topps "Elvis Presley" Complete Set (66)

Presented is a complete set of 1956 Topps "Elvis Presley" trading cards, one of nonsport card collecting's great classics. It seems only natural that Topps would honor "The King" with his own card set. These cards were issued under the Topps "Bubbles, Inc." brand name. The condition of the set is 18% Ex or slightly better, 56% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 26% lesser (including one trimmed and five due mostly to pinholes). Keys: #1 "Go, Go, Go Elvis" (resides in a GMA EX 5 holder, REA's grade is Vg) and 66 "Go Back to Vance" (Vg). This is a very attractive and mostly mid-grade complete set of one of the most popular of all 1950s nonsport issues. Elvis's enormous significance to the 1950s and popular culture in general makes this set of great interest to many different types of collectors. Total: 66 cards.
