Presented is a complete 88-card set of 1962 Topps "Civil War News" plus a complete set of seventeen Confederate currency notes issued in packs with these cards. Each card has multicolored artwork of a battle scene or historical event. The text on the reverse is designed in the style of a newspaper. The extraordinary artwork and accurate historical information presented on these cards have always distinguished them as one of Topps' most ambitious projects. Condition is 22% Nr/Mt (including some Nr/Mt-Mt), 63% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 15% Vg to Vg-Ex (mostly due to centering), while the currency ranges from Vg to Ex overall, with a factory fold in the center as issued.
