Presented is a collection of three complete Topps basketball sets and one insert set spanning the years 1973 to 1981. Each set is loaded with Hall of Famers and stars, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pete Maravich, and Julius Erving. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1973-1974 Topps Complete Set (264): Condition is 43% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (approximately two-thirds Nr/Mt), 46% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 11% Vg to Vg-Ex (including seven trimmed). Keys: #20 Havlicek (Ex+), 50 Abdul-Jabbar (Ex), 70 Robertson (30/70 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt), 80 Chamberlain (erasure mark on top border, otherwise Ex-Mt+), 82 Bradley (SGC NM+ 86), 100 West (Ex+), 126 Westphal RC (Ex), 130 Maravich (Vg-Ex+), 135 McAdoo RC (Ex-Mt), 142 Monroe (trimmed right edge, otherwise Nr/Mt+), and 240 Erving (20/80 L/R, otherwise Vg-Ex+). 2) 1977-1978 Topps Complete Set (132): Condition is 48% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt and 46% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a couple slightly lesser and seven trimmed). Keys: #1 Abdul-Jabbar (Vg-Ex+), 20 Maravich (Nr/Mt-Mt), 56 Dantley RC (Nr/Mt), 100 Erving (Nr/Mt), 111 Parish RC (Nr/Mt+), 120 Walton (Nr/Mt-Mt), and 132 Dawkins RC (Ex-Mt due solely to centering). 3) 1978-1979 Topps Complete Set (132): Condition is 28% Nr/Mt (including some Nr/Mt-Mt), 46% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 26% Vg to Vg-Ex (including one Gd and a couple with a slight miscut). Johnson RC (Ex-Mt due to centering), 80 Maravich (Nr/Mt-Mt), 110 Abdul-Jabbar (Ex), 117 Sikma RC (Ex), and 130 Erving (Nr/Mt). 4) 1980-1981 Topps Team Pin-Ups Complete Set (16): Condition ranges from Vg to Ex overall (averaging Vg-Ex), with all posters displaying a tilted picture.
