Lot # 161: 1909-1911 E90-1 American Caramel Honus Wagner Batting SGC FAIR 20

Modestly graded example of Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Honus Wagner from this extremely popular candy-card issue. This card has brilliant colors and outstanding registration. Graded FAIR 20 by SGC due to rounded corners, scattered creasing, and soiling along the reverse. The E90-1 American Caramel set has two different poses of Honus Wagner (batting and throwing). Caramel cards in general are rarely found in high grade. Despite the condition flaws, this remains an appealing example of Honus Wagner from one of prewar-card collecting's most desirable candy-card issues.
