Presented is a rarely offered complete 70-card set of R34 "Commando-Ranger" strip-cards issued by W.H. Brady Co. in the 1940s. This series features colorful illustrations (somewhat primitive style) of various war scenes along with detailed descriptions of the scene on the reverse. This set is incredibly popular among nonsport collectors due to its interesting subject matter. The backs consist of fifty-seven "Copyrighted by W.H. Brady" variations and thirteen with "Printed by W.H. Brady." Condition of the set is 37% Ex to Ex-Mt (including three better), 44% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 19% lesser. Keys: #CR-50 (PSA EX-MT 6) and CR-61 Hitler the Hater (Gd). This is a very attractive complete set of this classic 1940s nonsport issue. Total: 70 cards.
