Rarely offered near-complete set of 103 (out of 105 in the set) R11 "Allies In Action" strip-cards issued by W.H. Brady Co. in the 1940s. Missing only #117 and 144 for completion. This series features colorful illustrations (somewhat primitive style) of various war scenes along with detailed descriptions of the scene on the reverse. This set is incredibly popular among nonsport collectors due to its interesting subject matter. Condition is 21% Ex to Ex-Mt (including a couple better), 60% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 19% lesser (including one altered). This is a very attractive near-complete set of this classic 1940s nonsport issue.
