Lot # 2791: 1930s R150 Anonymous "Time Marches On" Complete Set (48)

Presented is a rarely offered complete 48-card set (numbered 601-648) of R150 "Time Marches On." This anonymous strip-card series illustrates great events in American history, dating from the era of Christopher Columbus to when F.D.R. was president. The front of the cards have color artwork sketches with the card number and set title along the top and the caption below. A brief description of the historical event is printed on the back of the card. The condition is 8% Vg-Ex (including one Ex), 77% Gd to Vg, and 15% lesser. Forty of the cards have been detached cleanly at the perforations, with eight exhibiting a slight trim at the perforated edges. An attractive and mostly mid-grade complete set of this classic 1930s nonsport issue. Total: 48 cards.
