New York Yankees payroll check, dated February 10, 1930, issued to the team's athletic trainer, Dr. Erle V. Painter. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and certified all the signatures as "Authentic." The check, in the amount of $312.50 has been signed on the front in black fountain pen by Yankees team owner Jacob Ruppert and countersigned by team secretary Ed Barrow. Endorsed by Painter in black fountain pen on the reverse. The check (8-7/8 x 3-1/4 inches) displays normal bank cancellation holes and stamps, as well as a vertical fold; Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
