Signed example of Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr's 1937 R314 Goudey "Wide Pen" Premium (Type 4) card. Signed in blue ink on the front. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card, certifying the signature as "Authentic." As Doerr's first appearance on a baseball card as a Major League player, this card is considered his rookie card by many collectors. Vintage autographed baseball cards have become extremely popular among collectors in recent years, especially those from classic issues signed by prominent Hall of Famers. The card (3.25 x 5.25 inches) has even corner wear, light creasing, and scattered discolorations on the blank reverse. This is the first signed example of this particular card that we have ever offered.
