Description

The colorful "Soldier Boys" set was issued with Goudey's "Soldier Boy Chewing Gum." The 24-card set features "Colorful, thrilling pictures of Soldiers and Flags of All Nations." Condition of the set is 25% Ex or slightly better, 58% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 17% slightly lesser. Accompanying the set is an original wax wrapper and nine miniature cloth flags (offered as a wrapper redemption). The wrapper grades Very Good due to extra creases beyond the normal fold lines. Condition of the cloth flags ranges from Vg-Ex to Nr/Mt, averaging Ex/Ex-Mt. Goudey "Soldier Boys" cards are rarely offered as a complete set. Total: 34 items (complete set of 24 plus nine cloths and a wax wrapper).
