The colorful "Soldier Boys" set was issued with Goudey's "Soldier Boy Chewing Gum." The 24-card set features "Colorful, thrilling pictures of Soldiers and Flags of All Nations." This collection consists of a complete set (24 cards), a near-complete set (20 out of 24), and eight duplicates (#2, two 10, 11, 14, two 22, and 24). Missing just the following four cards for completion of the near set: #8, 13, 15, and 23. Condition is 21% Ex or slightly better, 46% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 33% lesser. This substantial collection of R142 Goudey "Soldier Boys" (including a complete set) would make a great addition to any nonsports collection! Total: 52 cards.
